These immersive spaces have something for all ages, showcasing impressive artillery pieces, military vehicles and plenty of other surprises waiting to be discovered…
As every year, experts and mechanics from the Vehicle Restoration Centre (VRC) will also be on hand to share their expertise and answer all your questions.

→ Live Action Demonstrations — Historic Vehicles and Artillery!

Feel the thrill of their historic vehicles in action! Throughout the NUTS weekend, several iconic vehicles from Bastogne Barracks, including the Sherman Jumbo First in Bastogne, the M47 Patton and the Firefly, will take to a dedicated demonstration track.
From World War II classics and Cold War vehicles to the latest in military technology, three different line-ups of vehicles will be featured throughout the weekend! Their partners will also be bringing along some more recent additions, including a Jaguar and a Leclerc XLR.
This year again, visitors can also look forward to live artillery demonstrations, featuring blank-firing historic guns alongside more modern and anti-aircraft artillery systems.
Demonstrations approximately every hour, at regular intervals.

→ Stands, Activities and Kids’ Zone!

The War Heritage Institute team will be setting up several photo spots so everyone can take home a fun souvenir. Families will also be in the spotlight with our dedicated Kids’ Zone, packed with activities for all ages. Little visitors can get creative, make things, try their hand at fishing games, or enjoy classic fairground games such as ball toss, ring toss and knock-down games.
